Jim Biesinger: Sky Browser-Giraffe- Driftwood and Resin Sculpture

Sky Browser is a Driftwood and Resin Sculpture by Jim Biesinger.

"As a retired exhibit designer at the Minnesota Zoological Gardens, I can now fully devote my artistic skills to do what I love in producing my own creations. I developed a passion for wildlife and art in my youth.  A life observing and working with animals has fine-tuned my skills in capturing their form, movement and spirit. Recently, driftwood has provided a perfect canvas to adapt, morph and elaborate the movement and rhythm I like to express in my sculptures.  In this sculpture of a sable antelope, the driftwood suggested an elegance with it's sweeping motion, bends and twists.  I quickly saw it take form into the striking, impressive and majestic creature it is.
