Jean Accola paints in oil, watercolor, acrylic and other media. Her home and studio in the Northwoods of Wisconsin offers limitless inspiration. She loves to travel worldwide absorbing an array of cultural influences, often painting while abroad and other times bringing sketches home to inform her studio work. She has also taken forays into fiber art inspired by a few. Although she said she’s always been drawn to art, Jean Accola studied science at the university level and learned to put the two together.
