DIGGER O' DELL (Small Badger) – Earth tone patina with gold highlights - 6" x 3.5" x 2"  Bronze

This little badger was rendered in bronze by Wisconsin artist Mark Dziewior. This rendering of Wisconsin's state animal is completed by a look of stout confidence and an accent of gleaming gold claws. This mighty Mustilid would be the perfect desktop companion for anyone with the tenacity to move mountains, and the confidence to blaze new trails and break new ground.  Describing his work Dziewior explained "Handcrafted expressions of wildlife, cast in lasting bronze. Whether it’s capturing the motion of a running wolf or the almost human-like expression of a lazy rabbit waking from a nap, my work has evolved to a whole new level through sculpture. When creating my animal sculptures, I start with a clay model. From that original, a rubber mold is made. Through the lost wax process, the bronze is cast. I weld, grind, and add patina chemicals to finish each sculpture."- Mark Dziewior
