TAILIN BEHIND- Elephant & Baby Statue (7” High Bronze- Edition 250) by professional sculptor Robert Deurloo. Robert Deurloo creates exquisite bronze wildlife sculptures cast from molten bronze, but due to an elaborate and exotic patina process, they appear to be chiseled from the granite of the Sawtooth Mountains. A combination of intense heat and various acids and minerals produce the polished stone patinas.

"I saw this scene in Amboseli National Park at the base of Mt. Kilimanjaro in Kenya. A herd of about 50 elephants crossed the trail in front of us. It was a dramatic setting with the sun on the elephants and a dark sky behind. As they filed past us in their social procession, I observed a baby clinging to his mother’s tail, and having to run to keep up. We are different from our animal brethren, but similar in so many ways.."- ROBERT DEURLOO
